Have you a budget in mind?
How many people will you actually be carrying at any one time?
Do you need a boot as well as 7 seats?
Do you do much mileage every year?

Can't go wrong with the Alhambra, they're a decent bus.

Its nice to see a 130bhp model one, the 90bhp one we had was a bit asthmatic

    Dreadful.

They don't have a great rep I don't think. Also iirc, the seats are a pain, as they have to be lifted out of the car completely for more space and they are seriously heavy! I wouldn't have one, when there's such good competition.

jesus didnt know they were that bad, thanks for heads up.
sorry bout this whats ur opinion on Zafiras

they wont be bad on tax at base model being 1.6:confused:
opel surely have a good rep, no??

I think the zafira will be too small or you.

Also, the seats are also a pain if you're using the rearmost seats, the middle row is a single bench which makes getting in and out a pain.

The zafira is fine if you have a few kids and use the rearmost seats the odd time.

Have been in a rental base model 1.6 a few times at this stage and it's fairly basic transport along with a really weak engine. I'm sure it's fine around town but I wouldn't be putting any weight in it. I'd try stretch to the 1.8 version. Tax difference isn't huge.

However the Zafira would be quite a bit smaller than the SEAT or Renault above on the inside if you were carrying six regurlarly.

A bit late, but I have an 06 Sharan and its a beast. Couldnt praise it enough. Has plenty of lift, not loads of boot space but if you add a roof box you would have no complaints!
