My wife has been asked to do a friends wedding flowers. We are in Fermanagh and my question is: what flower markets are there and any advice on attending these markets?

Are you looking for a wholesale in your area? Who does your wife get her flowers off any other time or is she not a florist. Doing weeding flowers is not a case of a bunch thrown together I hope she is able to do them if not you could have a very un happy bride

She could be a talented amateur flower arranger who does not normally need to buy wholesale.

Woah, part of the Florists Liberation Army are we? In your response you asked as many questions as I did in my original post and answered none!

Not that its any of your business my wife has a flair for this type of work and over the years has done many types of floral displays for business and public events. She specialises in funerals and has been asked on many of occassions to do weddings but up until now has not taken this work on.

Most of the flowers she uses are home grown in our polytunnels but are not suitable for wedding flowers and seasonability.

The requirements of the bride to be necessitate sourcing flowers from a wholesaler.

And no- she has never done a course in flower arrangement as she wins the business mainly from her displays at County Shows etc. People come to her for her abilities rather than go to the run of the mill displays by other florists ( not just local)

Now I hope this answers your questions - glad to have been of help to you!
