No Hot water..Thermtec dual immersion Heater

Hello,
Im new to the site and looking for help with my boiler.. I have recently just refilled my oil tank and prior to this everything was working fine water and rads, but now after re filling the oil, only my rads are working there is no hot water.. The water does heat up when I use the immersion switch on its own. I have not touched anything on the boiler so can't understand why no hot water.. If anyone has any ideas I would most grateful.

Did you run out of oil completely?and have to bleed the burner

Do you have separate heating and hot water or is it all of the same system?

Hello, Yes ran out of oil completely but bled the burner to kick start the burner outside after it had been filled. The rads are fine I bled the rads too. The oil normally heats the water it's all the one system. The water will only heat up if I flip the immersion switch. There is a gauge under the cylinder which runs into another red football size tank. The gauge is at zero.

is there a motorized valve in the hotpress that is controlled by a cylinder stat
is the stat turned up
is the valve stuck(there is a manual over-ride switch on the side)
