Cost and requirements for upstairs bathroom in old cottage

    Hello everyone.
We have just completed the purchase of an 100 years old cottage and we want to convert a small room upstairs into a bathroom.
It would contain 1 loo, 1 shower unit, and 1 sink. The room is just over 6 square meters. The existing bathroom is just underneath (will be converted as utility room) so piping wont be a big issue. The walls of this room are only light wooden partition, and the floor is oak timber.
What is the best option to cover the floor and the walls and avoid loosing to much space? any idea of the cost involved?
Thank you very much for your help :)
    Isaos
