St Patrick's Day...and where's your shamrock?

When I went shopping on St Patrick's day, I saw only one person - a man - wearing shamrock. Are the rest of us too lazy to go out and look for a bit. Or was no shamrock wearing due to the rainy day. Indeed, could it be that wearing shamrock is going out of fashion. I hope not. Don't be misguided into wearing that colourful 'Irish' rubbish you can buy in €2 shops instead. It has nothing to do with the message of St Patrick.

My shamrock is still growing in a nice big bunch in the backyard. It looks much nicer there.

The colourful Irish rubbish, as you put it, seems much more appropriate for St. Patricks Day.
