    Hi Guy,

Not too sure if it is here or freign sat i should post. Mods please feel free to move if you want

Just wondering what i need to get in order to get 19.2 to watch the formula 1. Currently am set up to 28.2.

Is it possible to get with a 60cm dish in cork or do i need to go bigger?

What else do i need to get in terms or equimpent? Can someone provide a link to suitable stuff.

    Thanks

    FT

If ya want a completely separate system, ALDI on Grange Road have a few of their "camping" systems reduced to €49.99 that would do the job nicely (ask at the checkout).

Can't say for sure what kind of signal a 60cm dish will provide, is it a Sky zone 2 you're talking about or a round dish? So for starters; an lnb, a bracket for attaching same to the existing & a DiSEqC switch for selecting the appropriate lnb feed when you want to switch between satellites (short length of cable too).

You can get a bigger dish later, should it prove necessary.

If you google "multi lnb" it will throw up a few Irish suppliers near the top of the search.

Rubbish for 19.2E or indeed any use in Cork.

Try the foreign satellite section on boards. You will find more info there. 80cm dish should work okay.

Have a look at this thread, some very simple & cheap ways of doing it without installing a second dish.
