need advice on a dog

    im thinking of getting a boxer lab mix, the dog im interested in getting has a pure bred boxer dog, and a pure lab bitch in him, just wondering what these mix's are like?? any info on the dogs or experiences ye have would be great, thanks.

    Depends on the sire and the dam. Both breeds suffer from hip dysplasia, eyesight problems and bloat, all of which you want to minimize the likelihood of if possible.

    When they're crossbred, these health issues or the likelihood of them could be increased significantly. It depends on the circumstances on which you're getting it, if it's a rescue then by all means go for it but if money is changing hands I would want to see health documentation on both of the parents and a 48 hours moneyback guarantee on the pup pending examination by your own vet.

    A crossbreed will be susceptible to all of them and those that are present in both breeds have the propensity to be multiplied.
