    Hi guys
I will try and explain this best as possible, my hubby is on the "sick" now from work due to stress caused by mental abuse/bullying from his boss, his boss basically calling him a liar on a daily basis (he works in customer service), so he doesnt believe my hubby if say for example a customer was given a price and the customer said no ---- said it was x amount so his boss is taking the customers side, my hubby is a good honest hard worker and has never missed a sick day in 5yrs! has taken pay cuts u name it and will think nothing of going in early and finishing late...it came to a head last week where by my hubby couldnt take the pressure and told his supervisor he was going home sick and would let him know whether he would be in on the thursday , so he went to the docs and got a sick note for 3days *(not great!), and text the supervisor only to have the main man ring and say, "i was told your packing it in, thats good enough for me), hubby didnt get a chance to put his point across as the boss hung up! so now hubby is afraid p45 will arrive in the post, its a family business and he is the only outsider if u get me so he is afraid its his word against theres,

My question is what are the laws in regards to this? i mean he didnt quit im out of work and we have a young family so there is no way he would bail like that! he is genuinly stressed he is going back to the docs on tue, and he dropped that sick note up, but the boss wasnt there so had to post the sick note in the post box hes up2 90 abotu getting a p45 now...

    any helpful advice greatly appreciated...

It would probably be considered constructive dismissal. He should consult the HR department and a solicitor.
