Old Tenor Banjo Tuning Pegs

    Hello.,

I'm cleaning up an old tenor banjo for a friend, It'scome up nicely enough, but it's short two pegs. It's not really worth forking out on fancy planetary pegs and I'd rather not drill it if it's avoidable. The worms have been at the neck, but I've treated it and waxed the holes as It's not really worth refinishing the whole neck. It seems reasonably well made and the brightwork came up really well considering how long it's been languishing.

Would anyone know where I might get some similar pegs? the holes are very very narrow (4mm?) with old bakelite thumb turners. I'll post a pic in a bit. Also, if anyone had any idea who the maker is, I'd be interested to know, I can only make out the letters ?ELIA??? (reliant maybe?)
The pot is entirely plated with chrome. Quite nice really.

    Thanks for any help.

If your in Dublin check out O'Neills in Capel st,he sells a lot of vintage stuff, I'd guess there would be a good chance of him having a similar peg lying around.
