    Hi all,

Had a problem with a PC display. Everything was being displayed with a purple/pink hue, and the text was green (on every screen/program once booted).

So I tried it on another moniter, booted it up, purple/pink tint is gone, but now everything is black (except icons) and text is still green.

Screen and PC connected via VGA. (tried using different cables but no difference).

Drivers are all up to date but I'll re-install just in case.

Any tips as to how I can get display back to normal?

Sorry there's no screenshots. PC in question is in a place with no net access (and bolted to a wall )

Sounds like it could be Inverter/LCD bulb related. You can try reseting the screen to "factory settings" from the osd (on screen menu display) but chances are the screens hardware is the issue

    Thanks Nick.

    Problem fixed.

Did the following(not sure which did the actual 'fixing'):

    Updated drivers.
Reset screen to factory settings (Had to do this twice. Purple tint disappeared on the second time).
Changed windows theme to default (dunno what strange setting it was on but it was causing the green writing.)

All back to normal now. :)
