Plenty of meetings today, I have a few quid left from my Cheltenham exploits, anything catch anyone's eye today?

Midlands Grand National goes today at Uttoxeter, one of my old favourites runs in it, Tamerinbleu. Have to have a few quid E/W on that @ 22/1.

Good luck to you all, that's if you have any money left! :p

I like Major Malarkey in the Midlands. Not expecting too much but looked a big price at 22s. Posh Birds run in the Eider is the main form and she deserves to be favourite. Its a massively competitive race though so hard to be strong on anything. I certainly wouldn't put it past Jonjo to keep his form in this. Theres too many unexposed horses in there and Major Malarkey always appeared to me as if this trip would be right for him. If he doesn't stay here I think he'll struggle in any race.

It should be remembered that Great Palm hasn't had a winner over 3m, a stat that came to light when Great Endeavour tried the Hennessey earlier in the year. Can't have Another Palm on that basis
