Cap my bill on o2 wifi??

    does anyone know how to put a limit on the usage on my o2 billpay? i have an allowance of 15Gb a month but they charge 2c per megabite after that. it normally costs €20 a month but this month is €80. anyone any ideas??

    Get a spend alert put on, the software will deliver you an SMS as you reach your limit, warning you to log off.

    how do i get a spend alert?? can i do it from my o2 online account?

    Install Networx and you can always check your usage. Just reset the counter after each billing period.

    Only makes sense though if you're only using the one computer on your 02 connection.

    Their's a usuage checker in your online account. You should be keeping an eye on it.

    You should also get a little pop up when you hit your limit, down in the bottom right corner.

    Also, when you open your O2 control panel you should see a little flashing envelope to tell you have a txt telling you hit it aswell.

    They aren't actually hidden about telling you you've hit it.

    Bloody wonder.

    i didnt get any pop up when i hit my limit. and i received a text once i had went €10 over my bill. is there anyway to change these settings?

    Not that I saw, it was set to give the notifications automatically out of the box.

    You'll have to ring or call in and see if they can turn it on for you.

    Or ask on their Forum.
