Hi, I bought a ring online for my OH and when I brought to a jeweller to get it checked out he noticed a hairline crack on the underneath of the box which is where the diamond is set. Now the crack is not visible to the naked eye and I could only see it when he showed me through his loupe however it makes the ring liable…

In order to get any joy out of the supplier I need to send him a photograph of the damage and I have no idea if I can get such a photo taken or if it's even possible.

Can anyone put me right ? I'm in Dublin.

Hi Joe,
most point and shoot cameras have a great macro shooting mode, you can put it in macro mode by selecting the flower symbol either on a circular dial on the top of the camera or throught the menu.
