Just a different type of thread for kicks to look back on through the years.

You can pick one draft binkie. Thats a player who you like and feel certain will be a star in the NFL.

Then you can pick two value binkies. Thats two players who are not projected for the first round who you think are underrated.

My binkie is Michael Floyd WR Notre Dame who I believe will become one of the best WRs in the game. I think he has everything needed to be a really top player. He is a smart football player who I believe will continue to work hard to get better. I'm expecthing him to be a multiple all-pro over the next ten years.

    My value binkies are,

    1. Shea McClellin OLB/DE Boise State who I think is going to just get better and better as time goes by. He is currently projected as a second rounder in the draft and I dearly hope the Patriots take him.

    2. Brandon Taylor S LSU Was part of a really professional looking Tigers D this past year. I liked him a lot when I seen him play and looks like a real snip in the mid-rounds of the draft. He looked very smart and when he contests he comes up big a lot. A real ballhawk of a defender.

    Binkie:

Peter Konz, C, Wisconsin: Been watching a bit of tape on YouTube and reading quite a bit about this guy since my Ravens have been linked heavily with him on draft projections.

Really powerful and athletic, has a very quick release off the line. Big and strong enough to be a good run blocker, athletic enough to move with speed rushers.

Best comparison to a current NFL player would probably be Nick Mangold.

I think he'll go on to have a very good career in the NFL.

    Binkie

Going to have to go with Trent Richardson here. Love his style of play, basically an eilte Marshawn Lynch. Built like a tank, rarely goes down on first contact yet can still break your ankles.

    Value Binkies

    1. Russell Wilson, QB, Wisconsin - I'm developing a huge man crush for Russell Wilson. If a team builds an offence to suit his talents, I think he will be a stud. He just has the 'it' factor. Height will be a problem but outside of that you will struggle to find a standout weakness with Wilson. I badly want him to succeed.

    2. Danny Trevathan, OLB, Kentucky - One of my favourite prospects. A do it all LB who just seems to makes big plays all the time. Doesn't have elite athleticism but can definitely see him having a long career.

I'm very high on Shea McClellin aswell.

    Binkie -

    Easy one - Andrew Luck

    Value Binkie -

Easy one too - Brandon Weeden QB Oklahoma

Second value binkie - Doug Martin RB Boise State

By the time of the draft both could be 1st rounders (Weeden would but for his age)

David DeCastro (OG, Stanford) - Would rank him as the third best overall prospect in the draft if no position has more value than another, but as far as Guards go, he's one of the very best over the last decade to come into the league. When a Guard has a very good chance to go in the top 10/12 picks, you know he's one of the very most elite talents at that position you're likely to see. Super aggressive and super competitive player. He's the Andrew Luck of Guards, so to speak.

    Value binkies would be...

    GTRKM.jpg

Kelechi Osemele (OG, Iowa State) - Guy scares the shít out of me. Bigger than most family-sized homes, carries it very well, as strong as several oxes (had the 3rd most bench presses of all linemen at the combine, but his was most impressive as his arms are significantly longer than any of the others) and can move quickly for his size. Brilliant guard prospect who could learn to play tackle if need be, and probably will see some time at RT sooner rather than later. Scary dude.

    MHhmg.jpg

Alameda Ta'amu (DT, Washington) - He's huge, probably the best true 3-4 nose tackle in the draft and is a nightmare for centres to deal with - almost impossible to force backwards. Just watching him makes you realise how much you would hate to have to block him because he would annoy the hell of you with all his handwork, never gives up. The type of tackle that will instantly inflate your 3-4 DEs' stats.

Binkie: Trent Richardson: The best running back to enter the NFL since Adrian Peterson. An explosive 3 down back. For me he is the 3rd best player in the draft. Who-ever lands him is landing a franchise back.

Value Binkie I: LaMichael James - Running Back - Orgeon: A little like Darren Sproles but slightly bigger. Not a 3 down back put sensational speed and big play ability.

Value Binkie II: Vontaze Burfict - Line Backer - Arizona state: Has gone from being a 1st round pick to at best a 4th round pick (some say he may go undrafted) A slightly underwhelming junior season was overlooked but his attitude at the combine stank apparently. If he lands with the right locker room and gets his head down some team could land a future pro-bowl backer. Its all up to him.

I'm gonna go for Dwayne Allen. Not sure if he would be considered 'value' but most people have him rated as the #2 TE this year, behind Coby Fleener. I much prefer Allen (Clemson) who is mostly projected as a 2nd rounder (haven't seen him in a 1st round mock I think) - I think he will do a great job as a TE in the NFL.
