They are even ugly for golf shoes. And only 360euro certainly a bargain.

I saw a mention of 300gr per shoe, but I ve no idea what size was that. Just for reference my 47 non carbon sidi weights 370 with look cleat on it.

Are the bands across the toes supposed to look like toe straps? Is that what they're at?

In my past I have been know to buy almost anything produced by Rapha. Sucker for marketing. The quality of some of their accessories (arm/knee warmers, overshoes) is excellent.

I think the shoes look reasonable. The price however is what you would expect from Rapha.

    Rapha know their audience.

Next time any of ye are in London on a weekday, head up toward the city at rushhour. I would estimate that 1/3 of cycling commuters wear Rapha.
Middle aged lawyers, brokers and bankers with too much money.

The company has been a fantastic success story as a result of taping into the aspirational classes uptake of cycling.

I've been to the Himalayas, and met many a Yak, none of them had the exclusive look mind, more of a subsistence farming look tbh......

I almost wet myselfaughing at a marketing email from Rapha this evening.
To go with ones Grand Tour shoes, they now have Rapha shoe trees made from aromatic cedar.

    They really go too far.

Meh, I've seen worse (in terms of my own aesthetic preferences). They're pricey, but anyone who buys their stuff seems generally to be happy with it, plus considering the "credit card" thread on here, they're hardly a stretch too far. Too much for my pocket, but considering I wore through some DHB tights to the pad after less than a month's cycling, I wouldn't mind deeper pockets.

Also, cedar wood shoe trees for 30 is actually fairly decent value, if you want to use shoe trees that is.
