Does anyone have a line on where I could buy or rent some screens/sieves for a few weeks? All the websites for companies I knew of seem to have disappeared, maybe due to broader financial issues? If anyone knows a source for field supplies in the Republic or NI, please let me know!

Most of the companies I worked for used general common-or-garden gardening sieves for site, and specialist fine sieves for collecting flots from processing environmental samples. I'd say you're out of luck getting a loan though. And yes, a lot of the companies have either gone under or are operating in a much reduced capacity.

    Where are you based?
