new printer

    Hello,

    looking for a new printer for a small office. We need it as a fax/scanner/printer combi and preferably colour. We probably print 100 pages a week or so.

    We had a HP J5780 , but that has packed in (the 3rd HP to do so) Was probably looking at a laser at this stage. Budget perhaps up to €400 at most.

    The Epson Workforce All-In-One range (ink jets) starts at just under 200 Euro at komplett.ie (inkl. VAT and delivery)

    Problem with AIOs: if one component packs in, you'll need to replace the lot. And laser AIOs are very expensive. For examle, the cheapest DELL Multifunction Colour Laser w. Fax costs €399 (ex VAT and delivery)

    I'd rather get a run-off-the-mill inkjet AIO for fax/scan and a decent colour laser for the printing workload. But it all depends on your needs.
