Getting destroyed on fuel card price

    I just got my weekly text from my topaz fuel card crowd and next weeks fuel is a whopping 167.9..... Is there any roof to this or will we actually see 2e/l soon?

    Shop around, I had a DCI Diesel card and have stopped using it as I have noticed that the pump price is cheaper in other outlets.

    I received my card only this week but will not be using it yet as there is another local(ish) station 4c cheaper. On your main question, I did hear some weeks ago that the €2 is likely to be reached before the end of the year.

    I have a vague recollection that it might have had something to do with Arabs, USA, embargoes and/or oil companies, or was that German bondholders?!

    Paid 1.60 for petrol today in Waterford 6 cents less than most in dublin. Garages are taking the piss at the moment and charging whatever they want.
