what's the going rate for renting land to spud men,
i take it you can not claim sfp on land with spuds in it, also are they as soar on the ground as men say, taking all the stones out so the ground isn't able to keep any heat in it, if there isn't enough stones in it it can become compacted very quick again, ploughing so deep the bust drains, (old stone drains), is any of the statements true or is there any other potential problems,
when there finished does it have to be ploughed again or would the power harrow be ok to drop in straight after them, what's the normal terms and conditions when letting land to spud men, who does what, when, and what way is the land left when its all finished?

renting land for spuds I would consider it to be short term financial gain for long term soil biology pain.

    Never ever lease for spuds...
Neighbours about 4 years ago leased 50 acres for the great €450 p/ac back in 09, course they're still suffering reduced yeilds after trio'ing at 12" and a flatlift more than once since..
