NHK World on UPC?

    Any way that you could put forward a suggestion to UPC to get NHK World on UPC? It's annoying how there are no other news channels on UPC which look at things from a non-UK/US perspective. NHK is one of the best non-Brit and American English language news channels in my opinion. I think UPC would really benefit from its inclusion into the lineup.

    I don't agree. I have it on the parents sat box since the quake last year in Japan. Not great. Al Jeezera is way better.

    Im sure you could ring them and put forward the suggestion, but considering they couldnt even negotiate to get the new F1 channel I wouldnt go holding my breath! UPC are very slow at adding new channels.

    I like it for the fact that it follows and puts a heavy emphasis on news in the Asia Pacific region, a region of over a billion people which is basically sidelined and ignored by Western news channels, save for the odd half hour special here and there.

    I really cant see a lot of people actually wanting this channel. I have it tuned out of my Channel lineup.

    I like it because it's a news station about a part of the world that's ignored by all the other news stations on UPC. NHK World and Al Jazeera should both be included in the UPC line up in my opinion.
