My BF and I were thinking of hiking along the Dublin Mountains Way. Unfortunately, we don't have a car. Are there any buses/luas lines that go close to the trail?

The 44B will take you to Johnny foxes, but the timetable is dire.

Or try the Glendalough bus down to the Wicklow side.

The 145 goes go the very start of the DMW in Shankill. From there it's only 50 minutes' walk to the top of Carrickgollogan.

The Luas goes very close to the Lead Mines. Get off in Laughanstown and follow the road uphill from there and over the M50.
