1999 Toyota Avensis electric mirrors stopped workinng

    Went to use the mirrors yesterday and nothing left or right ,i have checked all fuses they are fine :confused:

    Is it the switch itself ?

    Am stumped :confused:

    Start with a process of elimination.
    Fuses are fine, have you checked them for resistance?
    Check the sockets they plug into for power.
    Check switch for power.
    Check the plug behind the mirror for power.
    It will be somewhere in that list.

    I could not find a fuse for E/W so i just checked them all and none where blown ,i thought it might be a simple fix like a fuse gone or loose wire ,wont be able to check socets or switches for power or resistance as i dont have a circut tester :(.
