I've been without wifi at home for about a month, but just got it fixed up yesterday. I was sort of expecting my Transformer to start a massive upgrade to ICS as soon as it connected, but nothing as of this morning. Do I need to do anything to get the ball rolling (I checked firmware upgrades, but nothing was listed)?

I have it on mine almost 2 weeks now, very surprised that it shows as non available for you. You are in Ireland right?

Not too impressed by the way, there are some bugs. Device no longer sleeps properly, always have to hard reset it to wake it up if it's been off for a long amount of time.

So relax about upgrading for a while I would say :)

You can download it from the ASUS site:

    http://www.asus.com/Eee/Eee_Pad/Eee_Pad_Transformer_TF101/#download
Select Android as the OS and then expand firmware.

Agree totally, seems like the release was rushed to me.

I wasnt showing any upgrade on mine either. So that's what I did, manually downloaded the ICS upgrade. The upgrade itself went well without any hitch. It's a rather simple process.

When you download you will get a zip file. There's another zip inside the zip file. Just copy the inside zip file on the sd card, put the card back into transfer and switch it on. It automatically detects the firmware on the sd card and will prompt you for the upgrade.
