Contact & Calendar options

I'm a Yahoo email user, for many years, and have long been annoyed that I have to duplicate my contacts between Yahoo and Gmail. I don't use my gmail account at all other than for Android-related stuff.

Yahoo contacts can sync - but only from Yahoo-->Phone, not the other way around. Similar for Calendar.

I've been trying to go back to using Yahoo but it just seems impossible. Just wanted to see if anyone knows a way around this so I can stick to my trusty Yahoo.

You can add your yahoo account to gmail?
    Sync once and you're done.

Ya, the best way it to use Gmail as the defacto controller of Contacts and calendar.
Either that or wait for Yahoo to release a mobile operating system.
