    Hi,

I posted another thread regarding an incident that happened recently on a flight which has actually escalated now. Just curious to know if anyone could help with some questions I have.

If an airline has Terms and conditions, and i break them, but I tell the Ryanair staff I broke them at check in and he says its ok, Do they still apply?
To use an example (maybe I have this wrong I think I read it on boards - but if you park in a car park that says "Its not responsible for damage, under Irish law it means nothing?) if this is wrong just ignore it :D

Also, under Irish law, if a company charges for a service (not the flight) i.e I pay €15 to get my bag from A to B uniterrupted, but I don't receive this service, are they responsible?

I know these questions are vague I just don't want to repeat the last thread.

You would be bound by what ever Terms and Conditions you signed up to for the myriad of contracts / terms you entered into. There are possibly other laws in regards to Airlines as they are bound by certain international conventions but unless the terms are in someway so out there, or the break the law themselves, my read of it is you're stuck with them.

As for altering a written agreement (T&Cs) with by parole (oraly) I have a niggling suspiction you cant.

Sorry for the spelling - I really need to fix this stupid thing.

    Thanks for that :D

Yes I thought the breaking terms orally is something you cant do.

So there is terms, which I broke. Does anyone know anything about the Montreal Convention? It covers items stolen... i just can't seem to find out if the airlines Terms and conditions override this convention.

    Thanks for your time
