Does anyone know which schools provide training in automatic cars and will supply the car? Have only found one so far which charges very expensive prices,

    Regards,

    P.

    Where are you based?

You might struggle to find decent rates to be honest.

I don't know if we're allowed to name driving instructors...

    Mod note: You're not;)

They were the only ones we found when my mam was learning

Well, was quoted €660 for 12 lessons; anything less would be good....

    Cheers,

Do not use the school that quoted that price. It is way over the odds. You can find some, but not all of the schools that have automatics by searching here http://www.rsa.ie/en/RSA/Learner-Drivers/Finding-an-instructor/Find-an-instructor/ and refining the search with the word auto. Fair price for a good and honest instructor is about 35 euro per hour with discounts for bundles. Go on the first lesson with the money for one hour in one pocket and the money for several in the other. How happy you are with the instructor and the lesson dictates how much you pay.
