    Hi All,

I applied for a tax refund as set out in here. I filled in the IT31 form and attached the receipt, however I think I may have posted it to the wrong address (Office of the Revenue Commissioners). I'm just wondering can anyone can indicate how long an application can take. I sent it over a month ago at this stage. If not I'll just give the office of the revenue commissioners a buzz and see what happened my application.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob

Depending on how long the backlogs are in the office you sent it to, it can be anywhere from 2 to 10 weeks to process at this time of year. Login to your PAYE anytime account and you can track your correspondence.

Can I just ask what tax relief is allowed on postgraduate education fees and exam entry.
    Thank you

There is no relief for exams. The link below outlines the relief for tuition fees and student contribution since 2011. Prior to 2011 it was tuition fees only.
