Am unsure whether this question is allowed or whether it falls under Legal Advice.

I am getting married later this year, and I'm a UK citizen. Fiancee is Irish. We are marrying abroad and have to produce certificates of no impediment.

We have got the relevant paperwork filled out and signed by a commissioner for oaths - but BOTH sets of paperwork say that we have to send:
    - original long copy birth certificates
    - original passports

The documents have to go to separate offices - so I'm at a loss as to how to do this? We are also cutting it fine time-wise so we don't have time to send them to one office, then get them back and send to the next office.

My question is - can I send certified copies (signed by a guard?)

    Thanks for any help!
