X-Trail 2.2 Diesel Oil Grade

Quick question for you folks. Do you know what oil grade a 06 2.2 diesel X-trail takes. A girl here in work seems to have a leak, I checked the level and it's well below the minimum level. I have some 5W/30 oil here from VW and was wondering would it be safe in the X-Trail engine.

    Thanks

As far as I can tell from online it's okay but just want to be sure.
