    Hey,

Going to Berlin for the Easter weekend, decided were going to drive as its far chaeper than the Train or Flying, from Eindhoven to Berlin.

Does anyone have any tips on a good places to stop on the way ?

Was thinking of grabbing some Lunch in Wolfsburg at the Autostadt :)

    Cheers

You'll need a good bit of time in Autostadt, but they do have an excellent Pizzeria and Italian restaurant there. I went there last year and spent about 6 hours on site but was still a bit rushed at the end.

In Berlin you should try to get to Meilenwerk, now known as Classic Remise (or something similar), put Meilenwerk Berlin into the boards.ie search function and you'll get photos I took there last year, same as for VW's Autostadt.

There is also something similar in Duesseldorf, but its a bit out of your way. In Berlin the Deutsches Technikmuseum had a good range of classics, but I haven't ben to it in years.

There is a good museum in Herne devoted to Opel, and Karmann have one in Osnabruck with some interesting stuff, but you should check if they are still around as its been a long time since I was there.

There are a lot of smaller transport museums in Germany, have a google and see what you find, some of them are small but very good as they might focus on just one thing such as DDR vehicles, or motorbikes, or cars by Carl Benz etc.
