First impressions count

First I like to start by saying if this is someone on boards, don't take it a personal insult, it's my opinion.

Anyway, I opened my email there and as usual I have a load of citydeals offers. I had a quick browse through them and say one for a photography workshop so I clicked the link, then went through to the company website to what they were like and to be honest I was shocked. The company is luxphotography2u and their website is one of the worst I ever seen, accompanied by photos which really are not great and some that have really cheesy partial colour effects.

They say first impressions count, and because of this, there's no way in hell I'd buy a voucher to do a course with them.

Dreadful amateurish website - couldnt figure out what was going on with some of those wedding pics and think they may be off a fashion show or wedding show or something. Lot of good shots on there tho, but hopefully someone will give them some tips about the website.

Looks like a photography students website - the studio shot looks a LOT like the DCU studio and the runway models could be from astylensoc event.

But it's not exactly inspiring stuff. That said, they're putting themselves out there and might be in line to make some money!

    unlikely, though.

I must agree that most who are regulars here would achieve a much higher quality product than what is shown on that site.

Had a look through the Wedding Photo's and I would not be happy with the quality there if they were supplied to me. Not something I would aspire to.
