<snip - if you have a problem with a mod, please follow the correct procedure>

edit: Lest anyone think I was complaining about our wonderful mods, I should point out that the snipped excerpt was merely intended to explain why the thread has been started three times now <snip - please follow correct procedure if you have a problem with a moderators decision
edit 2: Again, no problem with the spurious' decision here - just clarifying things so that people wouldn't come to the conclusion that I was somehow being subversive in what I had written but has been deleted.

Human Chess. A game of chess with people as the pieces on a "life-size" board.
    Theme: "Zombies versus Pokemon".
March 29th circa 1pm, in front of the library.
All welcome to come and participate, you don't need to know how to play chess as two players will dictate the moves.
Any questions, feel free to ask.

Costumes would be recommended, yes. And makeup. Unless you happen to already look like a pokemon or zombie - that'd be pretty cool too...

    Tá sé seo suimiúil!

An bfhuil na feistis agat nó an bhfuil ar gach duine feitis a bheidh acu fhéin?

    Ceist freagraí!

Zombaí, cinéal easca, Pokemon, cinéal deacair . . .
    eng. costumes?

Ba cheart do dhaoine a gcuid cultacha fhéin a bheith acu. Seans go gcuirfear péintéireacht aghaidhe ar fáil má theastaíonn sé, ach feicfimid níos giorra don am.

edit: People should have their own costumes. There may be face painting available if needed, but we will see closer to the time.

<montreal2011 and Ficheall - reminding you both that the rule on boards is that, outside specialised language fora, if your post is in a language other than English, a translation should be provided>

don't go jumping on the defensive, we all know the few not going to name names. But I like seeing society's putting on unique events.

Bhuel, bheadh sé ait d'aon grúpa seachas an gcumann fichille cluiche ficheall daoine a cur ar siúl. Muna bhfanann cumainn taobh istigh dá sainchúram féin, ní bheadh iontu ach slua grúpaí éigsúil ag cuartú airgead ón choláiste...

Well, it would be odd for any group aside from the ChessSoc to put on a human chess game, to be fair. If societies don't remain within their own remit, they'd just big a load of different groups looking for money from the college...
