Is that just a brand name for an unvented cylinder?

Just had a look there. It's a heat pump on a cylinder. How much electricity would be used?

Ariston have a new similar model out on the market and it's a more known brand.

it uses approx 36cent a day, gives you hot water 24/7,it is also advised not to connect the oil to it as there is no need,it comes with only one coil which gives you option for solar panels or stove.it gives you hot water for 150 per year and a saving of up to 600litres of oil a year.it pulls in warm air from an extract from bathroom and lets out cold air to an external vent.the make of compressor and heat pump is mithubishi.

Is that what the manufacturer says? What is the COP of the heat pump?

cop is 3.6. 3.6kw of energy for1 kw electricity invested.

It's the same as the Ariston.
I'd be wary of manufacturers claims as they are tested in ideal situations. I suppose it would be cheaper than oil and also if solar panels where connected to it it would be very efficient.

have not been talking to any manufactures on it,got some info of the plumber dealing with it,have visited few homes with it installed and anyone i talked to was very impressed.the electric going to it is even feed through a meter which is supplied with cylinder to let you know what electric is been used.no electric showers.i think this is the way to go price of oil rising all the time

Well get your self a good thermostatic pumped shower to make use of all the hot water.
