Hi lads, I've just bought a '04 Ford Focus TDCi and will want to give it a service soon. I work in Mahon Technology Park and in the Duhallow area. Where in the city would you recommend? Was thinking the Ford dealer in Charleville or CAB Motors who have a deal on. Anyone on here that brings their car in there? Thanks, D.

Why would you bring it to the main dealers? A good independent Mechanic will do the same work, perhaps even to a higher quality, for a lot less!

I agree, you'd be mad to bring an 8 year old car to a dealer, an indie will be cheaper and a good indie will give you better service to boot.

I recommend Brian Powell on Forge Hill or Ardfallen Motorcare up by Musgraves, but they might be a bit overkill for a Focus. There's plenty around that are even cheaper and still good quality.
