Has anyone got any feedback on LR 4.

I have a chance of getting a student version. I've got photoshop but never really got to grips with the complexity of it.

    thanks

I love it. I use it a lot.

LR4 is slightly slower than LR3, but it has a lot more options for image processing in the Develop module, especially when you enable 2012 processing. You can also enable that on previous images in your LR catalogue.

There is a lot to LR, some functions you will use frequently, and some you will never use. I never use the Print nor Book module. I do love the Library, Develop and Web modules. I also have started to use the Map module.

Take your time, and look at some great tutorials online, from Scott Kelby, Adobe training, and also YouTube.

I see Adobe are working on Lightroom 4.1, and the RC1 is now available.

It seems to resolve a lot of the performance issues, but hopefully they can get the final bits right before they release 4.1.
