My car has been recalled to replace the camshaft adjuster. Thats all well and good. My query relates to its location. I ask because I noticed a tiny oil leak into one of the spark plug tunnels - The plugs go through the cam cover. So, is this adjuster just part of one of the camshaft sprockets and accessed from the side (under timing chain cover) or does the work require the removal of the cam cover? If the cam cover had to be removed, my little leak would automatically be repaired free of charge.

The cam cover would have to be removed methinks.
