Ok recently I have gotten fed up of paying for sky multiroom as most channels l watch are either freeview, soarview or on sky go. I'm watching it on my laptop at the moment well soarview and sky go.. But I'm I'm the middle of renovating my bedroom and was thinking of setting myself up a little media centre..

I have a NAS drive to stream movies/music and I will want to use a PCIe DVB-S2 and DVB-T2 tuners apart from that I have a wireless mouse and keyboard and an abundance of hard drives. What kind of spec would I need. Space is a bit of an issue. Id prefer a small pc but a big one would be ok..Of course at a lowest cost possible.. I'm not too much in need of an OS. If I could run Linux that'd be fine..

I think I know roughly the specs Id need to run this but I thought I'd ask anyway.

    Thinking:
    i3/i5
    4GB ram
Maybe low end GPU it of not integrated.
    HDMI
Not even too pushed on wifi I'm like 5ft from my router.
Maybe a small SSD for a speed boots so sata 3 controller.
    BluRay drive.

    Would that be enough?

Oh and I'm not against the idea of building myself. Tho im not too experienced in this so it'd be a learning experience..

I don't really have a budget but like value for Money would be nice.

Also for how much extra would I be looking at to created something that could replace my Xbox360 ( it's on it's last legs). Not serious gaming just like leisureful although I prob won't be doing this just asking :D

Core i3 with Intel HD3000 is prefectly fine to play full HD (even a dual core Atom with nVidia ION can do that, at a much lower power consumption, mind you).

I'd rather spend a bit more on a decent case and low noise cooling.

If you don't want to build it yourself, komplett.ie offers a few ASROCK Mini HTPCs, starting at €369 (Atom, ION, DVD) or €585 (Core i3, Intel HD, Bluray).
