    Hi All,

I'm thinking of goin to tailand in june this year, i've never been there before and wanted some ideas as where I should go and see, there's about four of us going and we plan on traveling around. I want to see as much as tailand as I can for 2 weeks,

should I fly in to one side on the country and fly out of the other??

Also if anyone has any ideas of good websites to get reasonable deals on flights

It depends what you're looking for and what your budget is. 5 friends and I (3 boys and 3 girls) spent 2 weeks in Thailand last June. We'd an awesome time. We flew into Bangkok and got a connecting flight to Koh Samui. We spent a night there and went to Koh Phangnan for a full moon party which was fun, slighly over rated though, the nights leading up to it are apparently better than the actual night!

We then ferried over to Koh Tao where we snorkled and scuba dived. It's great value here. Then we went back to Koh Samui and flew across to Phuket again spending a night there. We got a ferry to Koh Phi and spent 4-5 nights there, For most of us, this was the highlight of the holiday. We then went back to Phuket where we flew back up to Bangkok and spent a night there before flying onto NZ.

I pretty much did something identical last year. Two weeks in Thailand in June.

Flew into Bangkok and stayed there for 3 nights. There is a good few bits to see there so its worth looking around. Depending on your budget you could decide to stay in one of the 5* hotels while your in Bangkok. I stayed in the Lebua, it was amazing and a fraction of the cost of what you would pay here (I doubt you could even get what the Lebua offers here!)

We flew down to Samui and travelled to Koh Phangan. Stayed there for 4 nights for a full moon party. Also went on an island trek while we were there.

We then got the boat to Koh Tao. This was my favourite part of the trip. It is a great Island. Really laid back, but plenty of places to go for a party if you want. I did a Scuba Course with Scuba Junction (highly highly recommended school) which was brilliant.

We then travelled back to Koh Samui and stayed there for a night before flying out to Singapore to spend the last few days with a friend of mine. Dont spend very long in Samui, it has nice beaches but all the Islands do. You might as well go to the Costa Del Sol. I wasnt overly impressed with that Island (though I had heard this before I went which is why I only spent one night there anyway).

Northern Thailand is supposed to be really good, but I didnt get a chance to go there as I had to visit Singapore. It might be an idea to have a look and see if you could spend a couple of nights in that end of the country. Or you could look into visiting some of the Islands off the East Coast. Make sure you dont spend all your time travelling though. You are only there for a couple of weeks
