Went to a radio station yesterday to get stickers, and the security guy said he couldn't let me throught unless I had an apointment!

I understand the reason behind it but to not even allow me to go up to reception to get something, I even rang the station and was told I can collect could things, just say it to security, still I wasn't allowed in, the security guy ended up going up to the station to get it himself, now what was stopping me from doing anything while he was away?

Don't see what it has to do with radio really, but the vast majority of private and public offices have a certain point where joe public wouldn't be allow pass.

If it was RTE, they won't let you on to the Montrose campus unless you have an appointment with a specific individual or a ticket for a specific show like the Late Late or the Lotto show. The alternative is to let anyone who turns up to wander around the grounds which they don't allow.

No it wasn't RTE in fact I can get into RTE and wonder around easier

Well as a previous poster has said, this really has nothing to do with radio as you could just as easily be talking about any company in any line of business. Can't really see the point of the thread.

Bloody hell! I thought they beefed up security after that lunatic drove his car into the front of the studios?

I was going to one of the late night shows and me and my mate were able to walk to the set of FC and this was after the Car stuff
