Is 16K enough?

Any idea if 16K would be enough to rewire a 700 sq. ft. house, to put in a new (cheap/IKEA) small kitchen, relocate downstairs bathroom upstairs and add insulation to attic?

    Thanks a mill

    Your budget sounds realistic.

    Thanks!
I don't own the house so any idea how to go about finding a builder to come take a look and price the job?

    Thanks

Put up the location here and ask for recommendations by PM only. Probably better as a new thread in the main construction and planning forum. Good luck!

I'm in the middle of doing something similar. Could be possible but would imagine it would be tight. The big variable would be the cost of moving the bathroom and the work involved with that. The rewire alone on mine cost €3000 for a very basic spec and with alot of ceilings down already.

If your buying just arrange to view the house again at a time when you can have the builder with you. Will save you alot of money in the end as you will have a bit of bargaining power.
