Footpath level

    Just a quick question to to get the foot path level in relation to a raft is it top of the bottom step of a raft plus block 225mm plus 4 inch soap bar. this is than Dpc level and the foot path to be 50mm below this?Am i correct thanks for any help

    You really need to check the drawing details and specifications, the finished floor level is whatever is specified there. The level differs from job to job depending on the thickness of insulation and depth of the finished screed, whether you are including UFH, etc.

    The footpath level is usually 150 - 200mm below finished floor level.

    It must be below the level of the dpc to prevent dampness am i correct in saying that? Also what is the dimensions of a soap bar is it 440 x 110 x 110? thanks for reply

    The normal soap bar size is 440 x 100 x100 but there are a couple of sizes .......see here
