I'm going to probably buy a specific car tomorrow, so did a full check on Motorcheck this morning. It showed up 5 recalls for this model, some of them fairly worrying (reduced braking perfromance, back wheels may loosen and others).
Should I be wary of buying this car? (Volvo S40 2008)

Have the recalls been done? If so, I wouldn't worry.

only be wary if the recalls were not attended to. Get the chassis no, and contact the service manager in a VOLVO dealers and enquire was all the recalls done.

lots of car models had recalls these days.
