Hi, has anyone done the following modules?

    EC4010 Economic Theory
    EC4090 Quantitative Methods
    EC4110 Monetary Thought and Policy

Do you have any recommendations? Thanks :)

    Can't speak for Quants, but:

Econ theory is real interesting. The micro section is a course in game theory, which makes for a nice change from the usual micro stuff. It's also thought by Gaia Narciso, who's really good. The Macro part is also interesting (but I'm biased toward liking Macro). Both are a manageable level of difficulty.

Monetary thought and policy is also really interesting. It might not be available next year though? Prof. Murphy has come out of formal retirement (or something like that) to teach it this year. When mentioning module surveys, he said that if we enjoyed it that we should say so, in order to ensure it's available again next year. In terms of interesting-ness, its good because a) you get to pick your own essay topic and b) you get exposed to a lot more ideas, in general, than you would in other econ classes.
