Solid fuel stove in kitchen or dining ?

Just looking for opinions as to where to put a solid fuel stove,my options are kitchen or in the dining room, unfortunately it can't be in living room as its upstairs and the steel requirements etc Would a stove look better in the kitchen and would it be out of place in a dining room, it's an open plan living/dining but…

Would a stove look better in the kitchen and would it be out of place in a dining room, it's an open plan living/dining but stove would be in dining side. ? Any views or advice much appreciated.

ventilation in a kitchen can be a problem if there is an extract fan fitted, this goes for any solid fuel/oil/gas appliance
