Maybe I'm missing something here, but what exactly is brilliant about the results?
I see a guy with a quirky, hobby camera and a dull uninspiring resulting image. If I was flicking through shots I'd pass that one without a second glance.

Well the fact that the actual processed image is huge which apparently can cover half a volleyball court and still maintain amazing sharpness and detail...

Can we see a picture of the print that's the size of a volleyball court with an average sized midget beside it for scale?

Couldn't find it myself... I heard about it in a video about the guy...

But you can assume a print from a 14x36inch film is going to be huge!

I'd like to see the scanner:pac:.

In fairness...by the time you've erected a camera that big the shot is gone. There's still (I'm kinda sure) a lot of fun to be had with it.

    Good fun.

With all due respect to the chap, this is old - very old technology. It's all been done before.
If I'm not mistaken, the largest camera in the world (at the time) was Irish and was the size of a room. It produced a negative the size of a door and I've seen a contact print from it of Countess Markievicz (I think) which was as big as a door. Now imagine making an "enlargement" from a negative the size of a door? It could possibly cover a football pitch, let alone half a volleyball court.
