Hi all just wondering if I can burn an already burnt DVD to another blank DVD. My friend gave me a DVD-R 16X speed, 120 mins video with a country and western band playing. My sister seen it and asked could I make her one from it. Any suggestions?

Copy the file to your computer and then onto a blank dvd

You can use ImgBurn to make an image from the disc and then burn that image to the DVD-R with ImgBurn. This won't work with copy protected discs and I'm assuming it is not a commercial/copyrighted disc

Is it retail DVD or a copy?

If it has been copied to a blank DVD already, any DVD copy software should be able to create another copy.

Maybe should start from scratch and establish the type of disc you have there?

Did you make an .iso of the disc from imgburn? Vobs are DVD video objects so it would be normal to have vobs after a copy. Make sure to read the disc to iso, not extract it and then burn the iso to a blank dvd r

If you don't have any burning software installed on your system, CDBurnerXP (free) or InfraRecorder (free & open source) will do the job.
