    It means the server cannot be found. :-/

    Any more details on the error!?

    Thats it basically. Its nothing got to do with the browser i've had the same problems on IE,Chrome and Firefox.

    Could be your ISP is the issue, that your DNS servers are the issue, cache problems etc. (Try Googles Open DNS servers here and see if things improve.)

    Still having the probelms. How exactly do I use the google open dns server?

    G00gle doesn't have an "open" DNS server, they have a public DNS server, big difference. Much better protection and indeed privacy from OpenDNS.

    You don't have to sign up if you don't want to make use of any additional services, just configure your DNS server settings according to the screenshot below (as opposed to obtaining the address automatically from your ISP/Router).

    Nope i'm with Perlico which since has been taken over by Vodafone. I've got a wireless router.

    You can also configure the router rather than your computer to use OpenDNS server addresses (or G00gle for that matter), this way any device connecting through your router will automatically use G00gle/OpenDNS rather than your ISPs DNS server.
