Bayern, Inter are useless at the moment and I wouldn't watch them if I wasn't a fan. At least there are goals in the Bayern game.

This requires the Socratic method. Good luck in your quest.

Not quite over. Keeper sent off and an inter peno. They are out though.

    That's all she wrote Ranieri!!!!

I didn't watch this match, but i was convinced Inter would get through!! Both sides haven't been in good form, but Inter had picked up in the last couple of games. Bad bad night for them.

Fair play to Marseille, but can't see them getting any further, unless they get Nicosea and even then, that would be tricky for them!

Is there any point in changing manager again immediately, if something else is fundamentally wrong? They are already looking like the Italian Chelsea.

And an error by TV3 just ruined the score for me before the highlights are over.

Inter have always had quite the revolving-door approach to managers. They stumbled on some stability when Mancini kept winning titles, but even then he was shifted on.

They are still suffering a post-Mourinho hangover. I fully expect Villas-Boas to replace Ranieri in the summer, but he may well come up against similar problems to those he encountered at Chelsea.

Same. The second Inter score to make it 1-0, they pop up, "Inter 2 -1 Marseille. Marseille win on away goals" at the bottom.

    FFS.

To be fair, Mancini sealed his own faith by saying he was resigning after the CL exit that year only to change his mind, he was never going to keep his job after that. Since then only Rafa and Gasp were sacked, neither were preferred by Moratti in the first place and were never going to be there long term. Leonardo was the only one since Mourinho to have full backing and he would still be there if he hadn't went to PSG.

Whoever is manager next season, and I agree it will most likely be Villas-Boas, needs to be given full backing and money to rebuild because it is desperately needed but will take time to do. I reckon that if Villas-Boas is the one, then he will be given all of this, even if it means another season without CL football, because Moratti seems to want him and that is what matters most.
