David Pipe's runner tomorrow is about to do something that I don't think has ever been done before and is highly unlikely to be ever done again. It is quite the feat, the more I think about it.

Anyone know or care to guess before they go scrutinizing the horse.

I assume you mean that it's his 3rd season as a novice hurdler, and that he'll be running in a novice hurdle at the festival for a 2nd time

First horse to run in the Supreme, Neptune and Albert Bartlett?

I would think so, and very unlikely to be done again. Ran well in the Supreme that day vs Menorah.

Does it basically mean that he couldn't win a hurdle race last season or the season before? I'm not well up on the rules....

Yeah. Didnt win any hurdle before May 1st 2011 to qualify as a novice for this year.

I think I'd be ringing Albert Reynolds to take him off my hands....

They doing it on purpose? Avoiding winnable races? Surely they could have found a very easy maiden hurdle somewhere at some stage

Thats a long time to be minding a horse for so I sincerely doubt it.

Horse has been fragile. Has finally won one this year so no longer a novice from May. Arkle, Jewson and RSA next.
