iPod Touch 4 connector

I upgraded from a Touch 3 to a Touch 4 over the weekend, but all my old connectors no longer seem to work. The one plugged into my iTunes PC, the Griffin iTrip in the car, and now the one plugged into a wall socket at work. The connection seems kind of tight, but they slot in ok. They just don't work. The only one that has worked so far is the PC cable that came with the iPod. Do I really need to buy all new connectors? I don't mind getting a new connnector for the wall plug, but considering how poor the new iTrip seems to be, I'd really like to get this to work.

Thats strange, the dock connecter is the same size on all apple devices.
you will get some on screen messages using some devices that chaging is not supported but everything should work

You may find that some older accessories won't charge the newer iTouch if they don't have the 'Works with iPhone' logo (happened me with a Monster FM transmitter) but they should all work in terms of playing music and syncing, I upgraded from a G2 to a G4 with no connectivity issues, it's the same physical connector.
